Self-identity as a "reader."

BOOKS I ENJOY
As a reader I have always identified most with non-fiction, autobiographies, or memoirs! When I was a young child, I always hated reading a sci-fi book or a really interesting drama book and come to realize that whole entire time it was FAKE. I mean yeah it's interesting, but it didn't really happen and would really just disappoint me.

Meaning  because it was fiction!! What I love most about non-fiction books including autobiographies or memoirs with authors such as Patti Smith or Junot diaz, it was great to be able to read a story that actually happened, something about it being so real allows for me to connect to the author, or feel like I have a better understanding of the author because they shared a piece of their life.
